A
Certificate of Destruction (CoD) is issued to verify that
a vehicle has been scrapped within current regulations
according to the Environment agency. Without proper de-registration
a last owner could be fined under new laws on continuous
registration, dont take chances when disposing of your
vehicle, use a Company that follows strict legislation
to ensure the process is as simple and legal as possible.
SCC agents are all aware of the requirements required
when disposing of your vehicle so you can rest assured
everything is dealt with in accordance with all current
legislations.
If
you do not receive your Certificate of Destruction within
10 days of disposing of your vehicle you should write
to the DVLA to notify them that you have disposed of your
vehicle.
